TK7 Fuel and Quantum Blue Oil additives

ssheen's picture

I have used the TK7-Super fuel additive. I liked it because of its reported anit-wear properties by David Vizard, of Motortec Magazine. Jan 2001. Gas mileage may have been up with it too. I recent ran out and my mileage is down.

More info on this site. http://www.bndautomotive.com

Edit: I see there is another recent (2005) article mentioning the QuantumBlue lubricants. It is linked on this page.

Scott
I've been following / collecting information on additives and oils for a long time. Hadn't heard of that one, but I'll check it out.
Also wanted to say thanks for all the participation!

Brian is the ower of BND and is very friendly to talk to. He would have no problems talking with you, or anyone else, on the phone and answering any questions.

I do not run the blue oil products myself. If I could find a resonable way to get them to me up here in Edmonton, I would run it with out hesitation.

I talked with Brian today. He sent me pics of his 85 Daytona. VERY NICE CAR!!! He took pics of his head gasket swap. Slider cam had 0 wear and the cross hatching looked like new!

This is with 103k Miles on the car, using his Quantum Blue oil. Changing the oil at 10,000Miles! Using his oil will not only help with friction, mileage, it is cheaper to run if you change your oil at 10K

I will be running it after my head build up project. Hopefully Brian will join up and fill us in with more info.
