Far-Infrared Radiation

Has anyone tried this device or maybe have additional info. Never heard of Far-Infrared Radiation before this. I am in no way associated with this product nor have i ever tried it.

Far-Infrared Radiation

The site goes to great lengths to prove why magnets can work well sometimes and not at others. It also claims why their device won't quit working. Looks interesting. I just perused the site and didn't see a price. A 10% fuel savings ought to sell for $100 or less.

It looks like it might be a beta emitter of some sorts. Anytime somebody works with radiation, there is the possibility of bad news. Beta won't penetrate the skin, unless you have a cut. Anybody ever cut themselves working on their car? Of course I could be wrong about the beta emitter thing, it's just a guess.

I got a little suspicious when it said it improves your brake fluid, shock absorbers, and oil too. Apparently it's A-okay to use on those, but not on a metal fuel line. Hmmm. Also, why do you WANT your oil and brake fluid broken down into lighter more easy combustible molecules? So far I'm figuring it's a fancy fuel warmer.

Warm

I'd say that 'far infra-red radiation' is definitely warmth.

Next product: A new type of coolant that contains miracle chemical Oxygen Dihydride.

Buy a glass fuel filter and surround it with infrared LEDs?

Buy it now for $36 AU?

But that stuff is nasty, corrodes metal, toxic in large doses, fatal by inhalation, gaseous phase burns your skin...

Far-Infrared Radiation

This has been around a couple years. Works on fuel the way magnets and ultrasound supposedly do.

Which means that if you're running a carburetted car you might see some improvement and if you're running a modern fuel-injected car you probably won't see anything except possibly poorer mileage.

FIR devices are big business in Japan and Taiwan. I spent some time trying to figure out how they worked and came up with the following, (which is my personal view only and should at worst be taken with a pinch):

The active compound used in these FIR fuel savers is often a crystal called Black Tourmaline.

It is crushed up and mixed with a ceramic binder (probably some heat-retentive compound and epoxy resin), and enclosed in a rubber or plastic casing.

Tourmaline seems to be able to generate more heat than it absorbs from its surroundings.

I suspect that, being a crystal, it reacts with the sound and vibrations in the engine bay and converts these to additional heat.

Tourmaline when heated is also thought to emit negative ions. Negative ions (if they actually do occur here) supposedly reduce the surface tension of fuel molecules.

The combination of heating up the fuel and negative ionisation may be what contributes to improved fuel economy.

Nudge. Nudge. Wink. Wink.

Anyway, they turn up often on Ebay Australia.

Here's one:

Far infra red and associated "crystals" are being touted for everything in the far east, treat your food with it, sit under lamps, make your toilet flush better and gawd knows what else.

I think it's the high tech form of ground rhino horn out there now.

I think the power of prayer would be more effective. Perhaps a relevant verse from Scripture wrapped round the fuel line...

Road Warrior, I just noticed you live down the road from Bruce McBurney. Have you had the pleasure of meeting with him yet?

Had a chat with him a couple of years ago, nice guy, bought a book off him (Which I mislaid in moving) He seemed more into fuel cracking and processing at that time, don't know if he's up with the stuff like Singh grooves etc now. Guess I'll have to drop by again some time when he's got his yard sale sign out, or might bump into him at a Canada day event or something (He sometimes has a stall at local events)

Well there was that Asian photographer who wrote different words on jars of water and photographed different shaped crystals formed when they made ice, that seemed to show molecular structure changes according to the emotion of the word. So, if you find the right emotion for high performance, high economy, clean burning gasoline, and meditate on it while you paint it on your gas tank....

Correction. The words written where the thoughts projected by monks onto the water! Not the words themselves, although I'm sure they may not hurt the overall experiment :)

So, what's the lesson? Think good thoughts about your car and it's mileage :)

While slightly humorous, I do believe that our thoughts do hold a lot more power in them that what most people believe.
